ATTICA. Athens. Circa 430s-420s BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.65 g, 2 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive leaf and fruit; all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1665. Kroll 13. SNG Copenhagen 53-6. Darkly toned. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
